Community Engagement

Music is a bridge, created by humans as a means of communicating that which cannot be said. It has the power to transport our minds, our souls and our hearts. It connects us, young and old, across cultures and borders.

It is my duty as an artist to share all that music has to offer with my community. As a teacher, it is important to me that my students understand the tremendous impact that sharing their music can have on those in our community!

Community Engagement is an essential part of music education. It is a means to connect while simultaneously providing performance experience to students, bolstering confidence and public engagement. Through this act of service, we understand the reason why music is such an important part of what it means to be human. Any honorariums received during Community Engagements go towards bursaries, and/or Charities suggested and chosen by students.

Concerts are typically 45 minutes to an hour long and are a mix of student solos, cello choir ensemble pieces and solos performed by myself.

If you are interested in having my studio visiting your care facility, please send me a message!
